AUTUMN TERM DETAILS

The Autumn term runs from Tuesday 27th August to Monday 23rd Dec 2024. This is a 16 week term with half term running from Monday 28th October to Sunday 3rd November 2024.

NEW ODYSSEY AWARDS SCHEME STARTING

We are incredibly excited to announce that we will be launching a new Recreational Awards Scheme next term called The Gymnastics Odyssey Awards Scheme. The scheme aligns SAADI gymnastics with the rest of the industry who assess gymnasts at the end of each half term which provides a more consistent approach to ability assessment. Every gymnast who has already purchased an awards book will receive their first awards book free of charge. There are 4 books in the scheme with 4 levels in each book. MEMBERSHIP FEES (NOT APPLICABLE TO PARENT & CHILD)

BRITISH GYMNASTICS MEMBERSHIP

We are a British Gymnastics Club which means that all our gymnast's will require British Gymnastics membership at a cost of £18 for Pre-School and £24 for Recreational gymnasts. This will be paid directly to British Gymnastics in September. Gymnasts will not be insured to attend classes until this is paid.

SAADI GYMNASTICS MEMBERSHIP

SAADI Gymnastics has a £10 annual membership that reduces each term pro-rata. This is paid in September for the year, or when you join pro-rata throughout the year.

COUNTY MEMBERSHIP

All Hertfordshire British Gymnastics members pay a £2.40 regional membership fee when the either renew or join.

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AT REDBOURN RECREATION CENTRE

You may be aware that plans have been submitted to extensively develop the Redbourn Recreation Centre to include a cafe refurbishment, a brand new sports hall, squash courts, new car park and a 3G football pitch. If plans are approved the development could start as early as October with the 3G pitch and the Cafe refurbishment starting first. The developers have promised to keep disruption to a minimum but it could mean restricted seating and viewing at various stages of development in the cafe.
